Karen has some beautiful fall colors for us this week: Mango Melody, Old Olive, Pumpkin Pie and Real Red with ribbon for dessert.
This is a little more Pumpkin than I usually use on a card but I really loved the glow it gets with the Mango. Stamping for the front of my card was all done on Mango Melody giving it an extra warm glow. This bundle is new to me and I was just playing around with how these curve dies work - using some of this week's colors. So many possibilities and I'm sure I have more discoveries ahead of me. I used two die cut sprays that were colored with Blends to cover the dots of the lower curve though that would have been an interesting graphic look too.
I tried just a plain tied bow but it looked rather silly with the graphic curves so I colored a piece of 1/4" white seam binding with a Mango Melody Blends and then tied it so that it would have a real "draping" look. I used a mini glue dots to hold it's drape. This little bow will easily be less than 1/4" thick and should easily be mailed with a standard stamp.
The inside reads "wishing you the happiest of birthdays" with another little spray stamped and colored.
Thank you for a lovely color combination, Karen. I sure everyone can find a little time to join us in this challenge!

You're right, Chris, the colors do glow on this pretty card. I love the way the flowers look, colored over the Mango Melody cardstock. Love the bow, too!

Fabulous! The challenge colors work wonderfully together on your card. Love how you used the new bundle. The curved edges are terrific. Love the coordinated ribbon and how it drapes. I like how it is still easy to mail! Very nicely done.

Chris, we shared the love for our new bundles this week, didn't we? I love your take, it amazes me how the same dies can be used in such different ways! I like the idea of covering up the dots with the sprays of flowers! The bright and cheerful background along with it's texture sets a great backdrop for your sentiment and flowers! TFS
